Jedinečný pocit a silný, konzistentní zvuk. Až doposud bylo nutné zvětšit tloušťku struny, aby produkovala hlubší tón. Zvýšení průměru struny však zároveň zvyšuje vnitřní tlumení. To způsobuje, že je struna méně jasná, méně citlivá a více zastřená; čím silnější struna, tím tupější zvuk. Tento revoluční nový přístup — jedinečný pro Aquila — mění měrnou hmotnost materiálu a postupně ji zvyšuje tak, aby se tloušťka struny téměř neměnila.

Výsledek je úžasný: nástroje znějí jasněji, silněji a reagují lépe v celém rozsahu hmatníku. Struny si také lépe udržují intonaci, protože silnější struny je nutné více přitlačit, čímž se snadněji rozlaďují.

Při výrobním procesu strun Red Series používá Aquila různé poměry kovového prášku, aby optimalizovala výkon každé struny v sadě. Z tohoto důvodu se barva jednotlivých strun v sadě Reds mírně liší. Nejde o výrobní vadu. Je to záměrné, aby každá struna produkovala zvuk, který od strun Aquila Reds očekáváte!

A unique feeling and a strong, consistent sound. Until now, it was necessary to increase the gauge of a string for it to produce a lower-pitched note. But increasing the string’s diameter also increases internal dampening. That makes the string less bright, less responsive and more muffled; the thicker the string, the duller the sound. This revolutionary new approach — unique to Aquila — changes the specific weight of the material, increasing it progressively to leave the gauge almost unchanged.

The result is amazing: instruments sound brighter, more powerful and more responsive through the entire range of the fret board. The strings also maintain their intonation better, because thicker strings need to be fretted harder, pulling them further out of tune.

Why the strings have different shades of red?

In the manufacturing process of the Red Series strings Aquila use different percentages of metal powder to optimize each string’s performance within the set. Because of this, the color varies slightly with each string in a set of Reds. This is not a production problem. It is so each string produces the sound you expect from Aquila Reds!

The Red Series strings must be stretched by your fingers in a gentle way. They settle down in tune in 2-3 days.
